Producer Paul Reeves was in with the Classic City Collective again, This time calling upon James’ Brown percussionist of 14 years Spike Neeley. After recommendation from Engineer Tony Terrebonne the crew learned just how much life Spike can bring to a track. While he was here Paul also called on Stonehenge for some drum sounds and our sweet Everett Upright piano. Playing talent came by way of players Ben Thompson, and Jordan Roe. An amazing session was had by all, with a few great stories told too!

Also of note, Spike drove in from the first concert performed by James’ Band since his passing. Look out for Future dates near you. And don’t hesitate to call for your next percussion session with Spike! – Peace
