Producer Tone P and Rapper Jordan Carter were in Stonehenge tracking vocals and filming for the MTV show “Made”.
Engineer Kevin Spencer was in Stonehenge working with Wale, superstar Songwriter Ester Dean, Producer Deputy and Singer/Songwriter Tre.
Comedian/Actor Orlando Jones was in Neve with Engineer Vernon Mungo completing production on an upcoming project.
Producer Paul Reeves was in with the Classic City Collective again, This time calling upon James’ Brown percussionist of 14 years Spike Neeley. After recommendation from Engineer Tony Terrebonne the crew learned just how much life Spike can bring to a track. While he was here Paul also called on Stonehenge for some drum sounds and our sweet Everett Upright piano. Playing talent came by way of players Ben Thompson, and Jordan Roe. An amazing session was had by all, with a few great stories told too!

Dear friend and audio comrade, Thom ‘TK’ Kidd, [mostly seen operating a little studio up the road called Silent Sound] engineered some overdubs in Stonehenge the other day!. The session was led by producer, arranger and co-writer Bradford Rogers for solo artist, Timothy P. Green’s upcoming release on Worldsongs Media. Horn players were Wes Funderburk on trombone, Karen Greene on sax and Joey Summerville on trumpet. After all were happy with the horn parts, Bradford jumped on the B3 and let that Leslie hum.
Motown Records blocked out Stonehenge for several days; bringing in various writers/producers including Jasper, Sickpen & Motown A&R Kenny Kold and Vagas [as pictured].
After a stint on the road Stonehenge, had a return visit from frequent visitor Wale and Grammy award-winning songwriter/producer Jack Splash. Safe to say we all await what jems Wale will deliver us on his next album due out sometime this year.

January 2013 was kicked off by Athens Classic City Collective who spent four days in Stonehenge tracking for their sophomore release now under Songs and Crowns and Word Records. Tony Tbone led sessions along-side production partner Producer Paul Reeves. They called on the talents of “the collectives” various contributors including Drummers Ben Taylor and Andy Appling (of Radiolucent); guitarist Justin Reynolds (of The Habit); and Bassist and writer Michael Whitworth. The Collective also includes Sam Heilig, Kyshona Armstrong, Lane Moseley, Jordan Roe, Caroline Eddleman, Michael Mann (of Radiolucent), and Staci Whitworth. Paul was happy to say:
“We wanted to work at ZAC…we love and trust Tony and Jim Z…The whole team is top-notch…They provide a creative and professional atmosphere which made for a smooth session. The vibey live room and the great gear made for unlimited creative and sonic opportunities”
Michael White of Austin, TX dropped in Stonehenge to shoot an Alter ego photo shoot. Mr. White, currently a model/actor in Atlanta,GA., will be launching/ publishing these images in magazines and to a variety of agencies as well.
2012 proved a busy year for us at ZAC; playing host to a plethora of Writers, Producers and Artists…everyone from veteran Platinum songwriters to talented local independent artists.
Sean Garrett was a frequent visitor enjoying the largest of our three rooms; Stonehenge. The beginning of the year found him working with: Def Jam’s newly signed group, Reign, writing records for Justin Bieber and making major contributions to what would be Brandy’s first #1 album [US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums - Billboard] since Full Moon in 2002.

The second half of 2012 “The Pen” was constructing future hits for newcomers B.Smyth [Universal Republic] and Jacob Latimore [Jive] while at the same time putting together records for industry vets the likes of Rihanna.
ZAC played host to Wale [Warner Bros] for the first time in the fall of 2011 tracking vocals for his mixtape “11.1.11”. He became a mainstay in Stonehenge in 2012; tracking with Engineer Kevin Spencer and Asst. Cody Sciara for his album “Ambition”.
“Ambition” would debut at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 selling 164,000 copies in its first week. The album would go on to sell 500,000 in August 2012. In addition to tracking the majority of the album, ZAC Engineer Kevin Spencer, mixed “No Days Off”, “Double M Genius”, “Don’t Hold Your Applause”, “Bait” and title track “Ambition”. Wale also tracked a portion of his recently released mixtape “Folarin” here in Stonehenge.

Hitz Committee artist, Key Swag, was in Neve with Engineer Kevin Spencer. DJ Green Lantern was in the B Room with Engineer Shaan Singh. VH1’s Love and Hip Hop came in to shoot footage for their 3rd season. Engineer Sam Thomas was in Stonehenge tracking vocals with Producers Broadway & JA and Kat Graham [A&M]. Producer Willy Will and Writer/Actress/Entreprenuer Kandi Burress worked with Engineer Shaan Singh inNeve. Currency [Warner Bros] (pictured below with ZAC Night Mgr. Bilz) was in Neve tracking vocals with Engineer Cody Sciara. Engineer Leslie Brathwaite was in Neve working on mixes for Akon [Konvict], Don Omar [Universal Latin] and Key Swag [Hitz Committee]. Producer Cardiak was in Neve with Engineer Kevin Spencer. Kirko Bangz [Warner Bros] was in Stonehenge with Engineer Kevin Spencer assisted by Cody Sciara. Superstar songwriter Rico Love was in Stonehenge with Engineer Kevin Spencer. Omarion [Warner Bros] also stopped though Stonehenge tracking vocals with Engineer Kevin Spencer. Singer/Songwriter Aviva Vuvuzela was in with her band Aviva and the Flying Penguins. Engineer Shaan Singh recorded and mixed her debut full length CD “Painted Truth” here at ZAC.

Drummer/Producer Little John Roberts was in Neve with Engineer Raheem Amlami assisted by Chief Engineer Tony Terrebonne. Also playing was Chris Dave on drums, “T-Lee”, Clarence Hill the Third on keys, Pino Palladino on bass and Melvin Jones on trumpet.
Kirko Bangz [Warner Bros] was back in Stonehenge with Engineer Kevin Spencer assisted by Cody Sciara. Longtime Allman Bros Bass Player OTeil Burbridge was in with Owner/Engineer Jim Z and Chief Engineer TBonne tracking drums, keys, bass and vocals for his upcoming album. Produced by David Ryan Harris session players included Lil John Roberts, Sean O’Rourke, Mark Rivers, Alfreda Jerald and Kofee Burbridge.
Stonehenge played host to writer Sam Dew; who was in with Engineer Kevin Spencer and Asst. Shaan Singh working on records for Beyonce. After coming in earlier in the year with Engineer/Producer Quentin Dennard, Dollhouse returned, newly signed to Universal Republic, to work with Sean Garrett “The Pen”; assisted by Shaan Singh.
